I've been wearing New Balance shoes for years as they are one of the only brands I've found to consistently fit my feet. I ordered a 10.5 4E (extra wide). They fit a little bit more snug than my old 473 model, but I'm sure that will change with time. These shoes have nice support and are great for all around walking, either in the city or for a day hike. Recommended!UPDATE: it took about a week or two for these to fully break in, but now they are super comfortable. The durability of the shoe has held up well overall, especially on the outside, but it does show noticeable wear on the inside. For the price, though, absolutely no complaints here!

We walk a lot for exercise, on sidewalks and trails. This shoe is very comfortable, gives good support, good stability.I got the 8.5D, which is my usual correct size.The laces are great. They aren't completely round, so they stay laced even without double knotting--but they are plenty long enough if you do double knot.

I always like the way new balance fit. These are no different. Satisfied with this purchase. I would be happy to buy shoes from new balance again
