A Very Good Shoe

I was highly skeptical about an all-terrain shoe that is both waterproof and comfortable.Needless to say I was pleasantly surprised with this shoe.It's not as comfortable as a normal running shoe, BUT considering the shoe's utility, it's very comfortable.If you're around water quite a bit; rafting, kayaking, tubing, fishing, trail running - this shoe is a must have.

VERY COMFORTABLE

Very sturdy shoe...well made, but not made for running on pavement. This is a trail shoe made for walking or hiking on a nice or not so nice trail. Sizing is about the same as my New Balance shoes...so no sizing up or down. I like the speed laces...no other issues with Salomon shoes. I purchased another pair for running on pavement and they work great, although the sole is a bit stiff.

great training shoe, fits a little tight though but seems to loosen up within a 1/2 hour or so, really flexible and seems to help with balance, i would definetly consider buying another pair

wow! A great new addition to the vibram line

These shoes are amazing. They have an extremely thin sole , they really give you a barefoot feel. I was amazed by how thin the footbed was. To contrast I usually wear the bikila vibrams and they are great shoes but the bottoms are not as thin as these el-x vibrams. I believe the sole of the shoes are 2.7mm as compared to lets say the bikila which are a solid 3.3mm i think, don't quote me on that maybe bikila are 3mm. Check out the stats yourself on vibram website but theses el-x shoes are very thin and great quality. I would recommend them.

I stay in the trance

I put In 15 miles on average every week. I have ran 3 marathons so far. the 2nd in brooks trance 9's and the 3rd in trance 10's. the trance 12 fit my foot ever so slightly bigger. But somehow the shoe has shaped my foot so it's no longer a problem. Amazing ride in the shoes. Lightweight feel. Your foot feels free and cushioned. Has a really slick look to them too. I look forward to my next marathon in these. The shoes matter. Get the best. Brooks.
