Shay XC shoes are a tribute to the late Ryan Shay; a long distance runner who was an incredible athlete. This cross country spike/flat hugs your foot snugly: perfect for race conditions. This shoe has been updated with FlexFilm technology in the upper that provides a lightweight, secure fit, while the six-pin spike placement allows for optimal traction. Due to the welds on the upper, the weight has been cut down, so there is little for you to worry about other than the race ahead. This low weight is also helped by the bootie style design, while the use of breathable mesh in the shoe's construction ensures the shoe will allow an air flow as well as wicking the moisture away from the foot. The Saucony Super Lite EVA is a blend that maximizes rebound and durability, giving the shoe longevity at a high level of performance, without compromising on the weight.

Nice fit. Flexible. Pleased a hard to please teenage boy. Would recommend to cross-country runners for muddy terrain and hills.

These shoes are very efficient for cross-country races with a very good drive. the size is good but the shoes are not so easy to put because the size is a little bit narrow. However to keep the shoes on the foot during the races, this narrow size is very useful.i really recommend these shoes.
