Combined with a rigid three-quarter length Pebax spike plate, the Soarin J is a jump shoe that can handle the rigours of pole vault, long jump and triple jump events.It features a newly designed FlexFilm upper to reduce the number of layers in the upper for a more flexible feel, breathable mesh for comfort and a cross strap for a more secure fit.

This is a beautiful shoe. The colors are very nice and the form is great. The only thing I have to add, and thus the four stars, it is like 1/2 size too small. So I would recommend going at least 1/2 size up. It is a little narrow as well. I have to exchange mine. I will update review when I get the correct size and my daughter pole vaults in them.Update 02/08/2013I got the correct size shoes already. Amazon did an amazing and hassle free exchange as always. The shoes are truly amazing. The colors are so vibrant, they really stand out. My daughter already pole vaulted in them and she felt they really helped with the run. I recommend these shoes very much.

these are great for triple jump, size fits perfectly.I prefer a sprint spike for long jump, but these are ideal for triple, tried them in hurdles, not bad in high hurdle, but better for long hurdle.
