Product Description
Chrissie calls the T7 "an amazing shoe!" She was rocking a pair when she came from behind on the run leg to win her fourth Ironman World Championship in Kona in 2011. This incredibly light road-racing shoe is the fastest in the pack, with a new eye-catching upper for fly-by style. The streamlined, asymmetric upper works with the anatomy of the foot to perfectly wrap the arch securely from start to finish. Available in men's sizes only. For women we suggest ordering 1.5 sizes smaller than what you usually wear. If you're curious, Chrissie wears a 10. Note: As this shoe is a very lightweight, minimal support racing flat, the vast majority of runners will not find it "enough shoe" for a full marathon. If you have a light frame and a biomechanically efficient stride, however, you may be able to get away with it. I recently purchased a pair of T7 racers and was amazed at how light and fast they felt. If you like a somewhat narrow toebox, these shoes will make a terrific racing flat.That said - these shoes are sized EXTREMELY small. I typically wear a US 12.5 in ASICS Hyperspeeds but heard that these were a bit small, so I went with a size 13. These were easily still a half or full size small. I would have given these a full 5 stars if they weren't sized so ridiculously.These should work for just about anyone for up to 10K. Chrisse Wellington runs up to marathon in them at the end of an Ironman, but as a 170lb 6'1" dude, I wouldn't feel comfortable in them for more than a half. The inner feels comfortable enough to wear sockless, so it would probably work very well in short/international distance triathlons as well.

This lightweight racing running shoe is one of my Brooks favorites next to the PureCadence. Please note that is only a little wider than that running shoe. Use it for semi-speed work or faster tempos. Not for wide feet runners!

The reviews to date are spot on. I have run numerous marathons and am in the Marine Corps and these are my favorite running shoes. That being said I would not use them for every day running because they are not durable enough for it at least for me. They weigh almost nothing and are perfect for races and physical fitness tests. The laces like to come undone while running so be sure to tie the knots tighter than normal. Like the other people said they are sized small so order one size larger than normal and you should be okay.
